Adam Davies
Regularly freelancing all over the country, Adam’s professional experiences are many and varied. He is an experienced opera and musical theatre percussionist and regularly involved in studio and live recording sessions for television and radio. He's recently worked with Veroda Client, an Irish-based rock band, Cardiff-based rock band The Olympic and also The Bluesy Susie Band, a group specializing in jazz fusion and contemporary pop, with performances at many of the country’s top festivals including Brecon Jazz. Adam has also worked with the Welsh Baroque Orchestra, Bristol Choral Society and the Cory Band, performing in numerous venues including St. David’s Hall, Cardiff, Wales Millennium Centre, Symphony Hall, Birmingham and the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Adam is former member of both the National Youth Brass Band of Wales and the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales and in 2005 performed at the official opening ceremony of Wales Millennium Centre.
Adam is also an accomplished bass guitarist, composer and arranger, and in 2001, at the age of seventeen, composed, arranged and conducted the world-premiere performance of Noah, a short rock-cantata that involved over five hundred primary and secondary school children accompanied by a live seven piece band.
Adam is an Alternate Mode artist and is currently using the malletKAT MIDI Controller on UK Productions' national tour of South Pacific. |

Breakdown
Breakdown is a fusion of unremitting rhythm and gritty rock for six or more players. The drum kit and timpani parts are to be played by individuals and the deep drums can consist of any number of players depending on the size of the ensemble.
